John F. ‘Jack’

John F. "Jack" DeLorme passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at the age of 89.
Beloved husband for 52 years of Anne M. Dearest, dad of Mary (Dennis) Craig and Anne E. (Donald) Salvaggio. Loving grandfather "papa dad" of Joseph, Samuel, Benjamin, and Noah Craig and Elizabeth, Nicholas, Jacob and Abigail Salvaggio. Fond brother of Patricia (Kenneth) Doughman.
Preceded in death by his parents, along with his sister Gertrude and brother-in-law Myron Backhaus. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John was born in Milwaukee on April 11, 1927, to Fred and Anne (nee Foley) DeLorme. After growing up in Manitowoc he served in the U.S. Army from 1945-46. John taught in the Wisconsin communities of Collins, Richfield and Cedarburg, retiring after 40 years. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church-North, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, WI 53012.
Visitation Friday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
Immediately following Mass a luncheon will be held in the church hall.
