Glenn A. Wendler, 85, of Richfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Serenity Villa Assisted Living in Slinger.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 4, with inurnment at St. John Cemetery in Mayville. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post 69.
Glenn Allen Wendler was born Dec. 2, 1931, to Ben and Meta (Bartelt) Wendler in Mayville. He was a graduate of Mayville High School. Glenn was united in marriage to Arlene E. Scheberl on May 25, 1957, at St.
John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mayville. He was employed by Stolper Industries in Menomonee Falls as a drafting engineer.
Glenn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Glenn enjoyed watching baseball.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Arlene of Richfield; his children, Daryl (Penny) Wendler of Fall Brook, California, Kevon (Dawn) Wendler of Jackson, Gloria (Michael) Bader of Slinger and Joyce (special friend
Brandon) Gebert of West Bend; his 12 grandchildren, Diana, Tasha, Nichole, Leah, Randy, Katie, Tom, Ashley, Amber, Jamie, Brandon and Jordan; three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Mason, and Gavin; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, and his grandson, Jacob Bader.
