Eleanore L. Maul,
Eleanore L. Maul (nee Kaul) of Mequon, went home to her Lord and Savior on Feb. 19, 2017, at the age of 94 years. She was a longtime member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church East Mequon.
Eleanore was united in marriage to Clarence Maul, and they were blessed with two children, Constance and Gary.
Throughout her life, Eleanore enjoyed numerous hobbies, such as playing the organ, the card game sheepshead, quilting and crocheting. Eleanore would cook and bake in the Mequon-Thiensville School District area for
44 years. She would also cook for her family and friends often, as her poppyseed torte was well known. Above all else, spending time with her family was most important.
She is further survived by her daughter Constance (Dave) Biga and daughter-in-law Clarann Maul; grandchildren Corin (Dave) Einhardt, Spencer (Laura) Biga, Yvette (Mark) Schwanbeck, Derek (Jessie) Maul, Suzette (Chris) Langlois; great-grandchildren Andrew, Hannah, Hailey, Morgan, Jennifer, CJ, Dallas, August, Spencer, Brianna, Brooke, Jeremy, Caitlin and Ahren; siblings Marlene Kraemer and Arnold Jr. "Huns"
(Darlene) Kaul. She is also survived further by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Eleanore is preceded in death by her husband Clarence; her son Gary; grandson Ryan; brothers Fred and Robert; sisters Elizabeth, Annette and Ilma.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. at St. Johnís E. Mequon (1616 W. Mequon Road, Mequon, WI). Interment at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Memorials to St. Johnís Lutheran Church are appreciated.
