Gertrude M. Disler (nee Boden), 93, of West Bend, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at The Kathy Hospice. She was born April 27, 1923, in Nabob to Peter and Coralena (nee Peters) Boden.

Gertrude was raised in Nabob and at the age of 18 started working at Amity Leather, retiring after 44 years of employment.

On May 22, 1946, she was united in marriage to Jacob S. Disler at St. Mathias Church in Nabob. Following their marriage, they lived in St. Lawrence for a few years before settling in West Bend. Jacob preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1981.

Gertrude was a member of the West Bend Chapter 732 Women Of The Moose and Post 483 American Legion Auxiliary.

Gertrude is survived by her six children, Phyllis Odermann of Marshfield, Tootie (Dennis) Hall of West Bend, Harold (Dianne) Disler of Mercer, Elaine Krause of Fredonia, Donald (Jane) Disler of St. Michaels and Diane Hill of Port Washington; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Pat Hart and Audrey Rosbeck; three sisters-in-law, Marcella Boden, Ruth Boden and Lorraine Boden; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob; her parents, Peter and Coralena Boden; her siblings, Ralph Boden, Leroy Boden, Kenneth Boden, Raymond Boden, Daniel (Patricia) Boden, Marilyn (Alex) Reinders and Kathleen (Fritz) Wagner; and two brothers-in-law, William Hart and Robert Rosbeck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, March 6, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend with the Rev. Nathan Reesman presiding. The burial will be held Tuesday in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday at the church only from 4-5:45 p.m.
