Winifred H. Rettler,

Winifred H. Rettler (nee Conrad), 92, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017.
She was born April 24, 1924, in Saukville to Jacob and Hedwig (nee Luedtke) Conrad. She graduated from Port Washington High School Class of 1941. She married Albert Rettler on Sept. 6, 1947, in Cedarburg, where they lived until 1949 when they moved to West Bend. She was a secretary for Washington County Highway Department and Washington County Courthouse, retiring in 1994.
Winnie is survived by her children, Patricia (James) Spaeth and James (fiancee Deanne Hoffmann) Rettler; son-inlaw, James (Jeanie Sullivan) Kircher; grandchildren, Laurie (Jason) Meyer, Glen (Jenny) Spaeth, Jeffrey (Elisa) Spaeth, Megan (Russell) Thull, and Jacob, Benjamin, and Anna Kircher; and greatgrandchildren, Brittany and Samantha Pizzino, Alex Meyer, Tyler, Zachary, Mallory and Logan Spaeth, and William Thull.
She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Christine Kircher; and brother, Harold Conrad.
The Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Patrick Heppe presiding. The Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes will take place at Holy Angels Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church.
