Melanie A. Pollari, 41, of West Bend, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer Friday, April 7, 2017, at The Kathy Hospice.
Melanie was born Dec. 20, 1975, to Gordon and Pamela (nee Hebein) Pollari.
She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1994 and later attended Moraine Park Technical College, where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She worked in many assisted living facilities and later at the Aurora Health Center in Slinger. Her passion was her boys and her family, spending time camping, watching movies, visiting about many things with her siblings, and her dog Ellie. Melanie just enjoyed life.
Melanie is survived by her sons, Jordan and Dakoda, and fiancé, Marty.
She is further survived by her siblings, Amy Marie (Bret), Amy Lynn (David), Kristopher (fiancée Suzanna), Michelle (Steve) and Kelly; father, Gordon; nieces and nephews, Corinne "Corie," Noah, Aaron, Alivia, Cameron and Sarah; and aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pamela, and son, Tyler.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Chaplain Ron Schneider presiding.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, April 13, from 3 p.m. until time of service (6 p.m.).
