Vivian A. Baker (nee Greuel), 95, of West Bend, died peacefully Monday, April 24, 2017, at the Waterford in West Bend.

She was born Aug. 19, 1921, in St. Cloud to Alvin and Irene (nee Voelker) Greuel. On Feb. 26, 1944, she was united in marriage to Harvey E. Baker in California. He preceded her in death Jan. 25, 2003.

Following their marriage, Vivian and Harvey lived in West Allis before settling in West Bend in 1947. She enjoyed camping and spending time at Crooked Lake. In 1996, they moved to Wild Rose before returning to West Bend in the summer of 2002. She embraced her role as homemaker by taking care of Harvey, cooking, canning and spending as much time with her family as possible.

Vivian is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Washick of Kewaskum, Kay (Terry) Michels of West Bend and Mary (David) Solheim of Campbellsport; five grandchildren, Sara (Roman) Martinez, Chris Michels, April (Jason) Immel, Amanda (John) Werner and Keaton Baker; and seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Isabela, Estevan, Austin, Autumn, Cooper and Mikey. She is further survived by her three siblings, Glenroy (Theresa) Greuel, Oliver (Rita) Greuel and Joanne Riesterer; her sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Greuel; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents, Alvin and Irene Greuel; her son, Randy; two brothers, Melvin and Orville; her sister, Cathy; and her son-inlaw, David Washick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Holy Angels Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerome Repenshek presiding.

Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday at the church only from 9-10:45 a.m.
