Harvey G. Hollmann, 88, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at The Kathy Hospice.
Harvey was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Milwaukee to William and Selma (nee Noah) Hollmann and was raised in Grafton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Harvey married Lillian (nee Backhaus) on Oct. 10, 1953, at Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jackson.
He enjoyed camping, bowling and woodworking. Harvey was a member of the Staff Sgt. Henry Gumm Jackson American Legion Post 486 and the senior bowling league at King Pin Lanes.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian; children, David (Jean), Carol (Mark) Wolfgram and Cindy (Dan) Rennicke; grandchildren, Mark (Kristin) Wolfgram, Crystal (Adam) Diels, Elizabeth (Jovan) Arezina, Michael (Erin) Hollmann and Jacob Rennicke; and great-grandchildren, Lexi, Adam, Charlotte and Logan. He is further survived by special cousins, Gordon (Ann) Gilbert and Kathleen (Dave) Hafemeister, and their children, Alayna and Ethan, and Kelly (Andy) Gilbert; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Wendt; son, Gary; brothers, Clarence (Edith), Erv (Dorothy) and Larry (Grace); sister, Mildred (Bert) Klopp; and infant brother, Harold.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Church (2750 Davidís Star Drive, Jackson, WI 53037) with the Rev. Michael A. Woldt and the Rev. Kurt Loescher presiding. Interment to follow the service at Davidís Star Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. until time of service (1 p.m.) with a Jackson American Legion 486 walkthrough at 12:45 p.m.
