Jeanette V. Yoeckel, 86

Jeanette V. Yoeckel age 86 of Hartford, joined her husband in Heaven on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk, surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanette was born Feb. 8, 1931 in Rubicon to Louis and Ephrosine (nee Mueller) Christian. She was united in marriage to Elmer H. Yoeckel on April 30, 1950, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Woodland. Jeanette and Elmer were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartford. She was a hardworking farmerís wife and was proud of her family continuing on the Yoeckel Farm as the sixth generation. She enjoyed snowmobiling in earlier years, gardening, and taking care of her calves, feeding squirrels, birds and various critters that came along.

Jeanette is survived by her loving son, Dale (Cindy) Yoeckel of Hartford; cherished granddaughters, Becky (Jesse) Diels and Angie Yoeckel; cherished great-grandchildren, Trey and Jaedynce Diels; dear sister, Elvira Beilke of Rubicon and sister-in-law, Evelyn Christian of Hartford; and dear friends, Sherry and Kathleen. She is further survived by other loved relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Edward, Sr. and Johanna Yoeckel; beloved husband of 64 years, Elmer Yoeckel; loved daughter, Doris Diedrick; dear siblings, Milton, Delmar, and infant LuAnn Christian; and dear siblings-in-law, Edward (Bernice) Yoeckel Jr. and Hilda (Alvin) Zastrow.

Funeral services for Jeanette will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Carla Mitchell officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Johnís Lutheran Cemetery in Woodland, Wisconsin.

In memory of Jeanette, contributions to the Dodge County Humane Society or to The Kathy Hospice in West Bend are appreciated.
