Marie B. Feldhusen,

Marie B. Feldhusen (nee Masters), 79, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Marie was born May 19, 1938, in Milwaukee to Florence and Stanley Masters. She was united in marriage to James E. Feldhusen on Feb. 27, 1960, in Milwaukee. Marie attended Holy Assumption Grade School in West Allis and graduated class of 1952 where she enjoyed their class reunions. She graduated from MATC as an LPN and in 1957 went on to work at St. Francis Hospital, then St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee in 1966, and after 47 dedicated years, she retired in 2005. Marie also enjoyed golfing, bowling, casinos, playing cards (especially blackjack), flowers, and vacationing in the same spot in St. Germain (since 1963.) She especially cherished time with her family and her grandchildren.
Marie was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Hartford since 2002, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3702 (since 1980) and the American Legion Post 19 (since 2005.)
Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, James Feldhusen; loving children, Peter (Linda Neterval) Feldhusen of Milwaukee, Thomas (Christine) Feldhusen of West Bend and Laura (Jim Weber) Feldhusen of Colgate; cherished grandchildren, Kyle (Whitney), Sara, Andrew (Michelle), Lauren, and Alexandra Feldhusen; cherished great-grandson, Canann; and dear siblings, Theresa (Daniel) Kutynak, Bernice (Tony) Zappia, and Arnold Masters.She is further survived by many other loved relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sylvia Morales; and siblings- in-law, Sharon Masters and Robert (Marilyn) Feldhusen.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4886 Highway 175, St. Lawrence/Hartford, WI 53027) with the Rev. Davies Edassery and The Very Rev. Fr. Rick Stoffel concelebrating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church Friday from 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Private inurnment at a later date in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
