Ronald E PriesgenRonald E. Priesgen, “Ronnie,” 62, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Pavilion of Glacier Valley in Slinger.

Ron was born June 12, 1955, in Hartford to Eugene B. “Tiny” and Vanilda V. “Nellie” (nee Moser) Priesgen. He graduated in 1973 from Hartford High School. He worked for Dico in Slinger, Karavan Trailers in Hartford, and later at the Threshold in West Bend. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, coffee, playing cards and gambling. Ron enjoyed singing his favorite songs and was a participant in the Wisconsin Special Olympics. Ron’s funny one-liner’s will be missed.

Ron is survived by his loving mother, Nellie Priesgen; loving siblings, Darlene (Dale) Grinwald, Gerald 'Butch' (Betty), Eugene Jr. (friend Cindy) Priesgen, all of Rubicon, Janet (Nick) Klink of Hartford, and Jeffery Priesgen of Hartford; dear nieces and nephews, Brenda, Terri (Al), Troy, Keith (Kim), Kristina (Marshall), Michelle (Brian), and Marcia; godson, Ryan (friend Theresa); 13 dear greatnieces and -nephews; aunts and uncles; and special pets, Sophie and Murphy. He is further survived by other loved relatives and friends; good friends from Parkview Manor in Jackson, Jerry and Tim; and special friend, Mary of West Bend.

Ron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Theresa (nee Schwartz) Moser, and paternal grandparents, Edward and Irene (nee Meyer) Priesgen; his father, Eugene Priesgen (2012); and several aunts and uncles. A Memorial Mass for Ron will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State St., Hartford, WI 53027) with the Rev. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends Thursday at the church from 2-4:45 p.m. Inurnment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford on Friday, July 7 at 10 a.m.
