Gregg G. Gindt, 47, of Newburg, passed away unexpectedly from a massive heart attack at Columbia St. Mary in Milwaukee on Monday, July 31, 2017.
Gregg was born March 2, 1970, in West Bend, the son of Dennis and Diane (Schraufnagel) Gindt. He was united in marriage to Leah Lauters on Feb. 22, 2017. He worked for Tamborino Trucking in Slinger until the time of his passing. In his spare time, he enjoyed working and repairing small engines, playing sheepshead, sitting around a bonfire with good friends and helping others in need.
Gregg is survived by his wife, Leah; his children, Christine Gindt and special friend Bill Ostovich of Slinger, and Kris (Nicole) Gindt of Hartland; his mother, Diane Gindt of Kewaskum; brothers, Michael and Randy (Patty) Gindt of West Bend; his sister, Michelle (Todd) Krapfl of Lomira; and nieces, nephews, one great-nephew, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Gindt; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Viola Gindt; his maternal grandparents, Beno and Maxine Schraufnagel; and aunts and uncles.
In honor of Gregg’s wishes, there will be no funeral services and cremation has taken place. Private burial will be at a later date.
A memorial celebration of Gregg’s life is pending.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Gregg has found peace and is happily reunited with his dad.
