Thomas “Tom” Ream, 65, of West Bend, found peace and entered Eternal Life on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017.
He was born Jan. 14, 1952, to the late Arthur and Marian (nee Andersen) Ream in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from LeMars High School in 1970. Tom honorable served in the United States Navy from 1970 until 1974. In August 1974, he was united in marriage to Dee Bonath in LeMars, Iowa. He received his computer science degree in 1976. Tom was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church since 1987, the Lt. Ray Dickop Post 36 American Legion, the Jaycees, and was a past member of the Lion’s Club in Iowa. He liked to go hunting and fishing. Tom enjoyed traveling and watching game shows and sports. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Dee Ream; two children, Stephanie (Ryan) Crass of Clermont, Florida, and Alison (Bradley Rusch) Propson of West Bend; a grandchild, Alexis Crass; two sisters, Carol (Daryl) Prittie of Murraysville, Pennsylvania, and Janice (Brian) Wielenga of Sheldon, Iowa; two brothers, Raymond (Rebecca) Ream of Toele, Utah, and Chuck (Gail) Ream of Matador, Texas; and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service in remembrance of Tom will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, (323 S. Fifth Ave., West Bend) with military honors to follow.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
