Anthony “Tony” Weise of Hartford passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, with his family by his side after a 15 year struggle with heart disease at the age of 78 years. He was a devoted and gentle father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. He loved working on projects on his hobby farm. He was a handy man who remodeled his and other family members’ homes. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and will be fondly remembered with his contagious laughter. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Tony retired from Western Electric after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife Marge, his devoted & loving children Jennifer (Steve) Asmondy of Germantown, Tony John (Heather) Weise of Theresa, step-son John (Rebecca) Wroblewski of Hartford, four precious grandchildren, his best friend “blood brother” Joe Soltis and sister-in-law Jeannie Weise. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald Weise. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family will receive relatives and friends Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. The Rev. Aaron Steinbrenner will officiate. Private Internment.
