Linda was born on Sept. 25, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Yvonne (nee Lee) and Richard Gelhausen. Linda met Mike Weiner in Eau Claire, Wis., and they were happily married for 27 years. There are a lot of things that Linda loved, like planting, flowers and all kinds of music. She loved their boat, the “Tin Can” and the beach bungalow they had in Hollywood Beach, Fla.

Linda was the president for the Cedarburg Players for 25 years and her passion for acting was evident. Linda was very proud and loved living in Cedarburg. She ran the marshals for the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic at North Hills for 20 years. She was very artistic and creative, from crafts to helping with the Variety Show to encourage kids toward their talents and dreams. She loved her students in the seventh grade at Kennedy Middle School in Germantown. Linda would bring in Holocaust survivors to speak to the class every year. She loved her students along with her nieces, nephews, family and her two cats, Tillie and Sophie. Linda Lee would make new friends every day. Like the flamingo, her signature bird, Linda saw herself as both a unique and social person.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mike; mother, Yvonne Gelhausen; brother, Mike (Belinda) Gelhausen; sisters-in-law, Marcia (Bernie) Schmidt, Michelle (Paul) Michalski and brothers- in-law, Mark Weiner and Matthew (Sue) Weiner, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and dear students. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Gelhausen.
