Carole A. Breuer, 75 of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. Carole was born Aug. 30, 1942, in Hartford to Joseph and Lucille (Hauschel) Collins. She was united in marriage to LeRoy J. Breuer on Aug. 22, 1964, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Carole was a devoted member of St. Lawrence Parish. She volunteered her time at Aurora Hartford Memorial Hospital. Carole enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren. She was generous, always placing the needs of others first. Carole was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Carole is survived by her loving children, Patricia Rath, Richard Breuer, both of Hartford, David (Sue) Breuer, Diane (Brien) Ott, both of Slinger, and Julie (Steve) Downs of Waupaca; nine cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle), Tyler, Maya, Riley, Kacey, Lucia, Jaylin, Anton and Gavin; dear siblings, Robert Collins of Virginia, Dr. Joseph (Kathy) Collins of Florida, and Gail Aufdermauer of Delafield; dear sisters-in-law, Bernice Breuer and Mary Peters, both of West Bend; and brothers-in-law, Jerome (Rosemary) Breuer of Slinger and Sylvester Goeller of Hartford. She is further survived by many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 44 years, LeRoy; sister, Jean (Erv) Benka; brother, Gary Collins; sisters-in-law, Theresa Collins, Eileen Goeller and Katherine (Clarence) Becker; and brothers-in-law, Thomas (Kathryn) Breuer, Walter Breuer and Elroy Peters.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Carole will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4886 Highway 175, Hartford, WI 53027) on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Davies Edassery officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church Thursday from 3:30-5:45 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Carole, memorials are appreciated to American Heart Association.
