Mildred Emma Adeline Kringel (nee Wolfgram) went home to heaven Oct. 6, 2017, at the age of 89. Millie was born Sept. 17, 1928, in the town of Jackson, the daughter of the late Arnold and Meta (nee Brandt) Wolfgram. On Oct. 16, 1948, Millie was united in marriage at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Jackson to the late Ruben Kringel. Millie was a lifelong active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jackson. Millie was baptized Sept. 30, 1928, in church; confirmed on Maundy Thursday, April 10, 1941, in her parentís home. Millie enjoyed singing in the mixed choir, sewing for herself and her nieces, crafts, her homegrown gladiolas, which she put on the altar and shared with others, playing cards at the Jackson Senior Center, and anywhere there was a sheepshead game. She also enjoyed the friends and staff at Lasata Crossings.
Millie is survived by her sister-in-law, Anita (Donald) Franzen; brothers-in-law, Franklin (Nancy) Kringel and Arno Jobs; special aunt of Sandra Steinman, Connie Eernisse, Vicki Kringel, Clifford Behm, Sharon Helsell and Lorna Markeland; and other nieces, nephews and their families. Mildred was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Behm and Anita Kringel, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1268 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Friday from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Memorials to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School of Jackson.
