Mildred E. Kringel, 89
Mildred Emma Adeline Kringel (nee Wolfgram) went home to heaven on Oct. 6, 2017, at the age of 89. Millie was born on Sept. 17, 1928, in the town of Jackson, the daughter of the late Arnold and Meta (nee Brandt) Wolfgram. On Oct. 16, 1948, Millie was united in marriage at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Jackson to the late Ruben Kringel. Millie was a lifelong active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson. Millie was baptized on Sept. 30, 1928, in church; confirmed on Maundy Thursday, April 10, 1941, in her parentís home. Millie enjoyed singing in the mixed choir, sewing for herself and her nieces, crafts, her home grown gladiolas which she put on the altar and shared with others, playing cards at the Jackson Senior Center and anywhere there was a sheepshead game. She also enjoyed the friends and staff at Lasata Crossings.
Millie is survived by her sister-in-law Anita (Donald) Franzen; brothers-in-law Franklin (Nancy) Kringel and Arno Jobs; special aunt of: Sandra Steinman, Connie Eernisse, Vicki Kringel, Clifford Behm, Sharon Helsell, Lorna Markeland, other nieces, nephews and their families. Mildred was preceded in death by her sisters: Irene Behm and Anita Kringel; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1268 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School of Jackson.
