Fredrick W. Goetz, 77, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Oct. 17, 2017, at his home in Grafton, Wisconsin.

Fred was a dedicated Grafton police officer for over 40 years, retiring as lieutenant. He considered it an honor to serve in Grafton with the team of dedicated officers and professionals, many of whom became lifelong friends. After earning an MBA and retiring from the police force, Fred taught management and leadership courses at several universities and colleges, including Concordia University and Cardinal Stritch University. More recently, Fred again found camaraderie as a driver with NAPA Auto Parts, where he made many friends (both human and canine).
