Thomas V. Zembrowski, 66

Thomas “Tom” V. Zembrowski, 66, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Milwaukee to Vincent and Regina (nee Ziolkowski) Zembrowski. Tom graduated from Notre Dame High School and went into the 82nd Army Airborne and Military Police. Tom married the love of his life, Linda (nee Giese), on Oct. 26, 1974. Tom served as the second assistant chief and captain of the Jackson Rescue Squad. He retired from Stanley Security Solutions after 40-plus years. Tom enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing dartball and loved taking care of his yard and gardening. His favorite was being “Papa” to his three grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda; children, Rob (Maria) and Melissa (Paul) Theine; grandchildren, Skyler and Caydence Zembrowski, and Myles Theine; and sister, Catherine (James) Radtke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at David’s Star Evangelical Lutheran Church (2750 David’s Star Drive, Jackson, WI 53037) with the Rev. Kurt Loescher presiding. Visitation will be at church Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 2-4:45 p.m.
