Jack Thelen of Cedarburg passed away unexpectedly in Colorado, elk hunting on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at the age of 61 years.
Jack was born in Port Washington on Oct. 19, 1956, to the late Frank and Mary Jane (nee Wilhelm) Thelen, and married Debra (nee Kernats) on July 25, 1987, in Grafton.
Jack retired as a mason from International Concrete Products, where he worked for 30 years. His love was the outdoors, he had a passion for hunting and fishing. Jack was a lifelong resident of Cedarburg.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra, of Cedarburg; children: Ben Boivin of Cedarburg, Melissa (Damian) Clark of Milwaukee, Andrew (Kellie) Thelen of Port Washington and Elizabeth Thelen of Cedarburg; brothers: Tweets (Mona) Thelen of Hurley, WI and Fritz Thelen of Sayner, WI; sisters: Pat (Dave) Clark of Lomira and Joan (Dave) Wojtysiak of WI; and grandchildren: Anthony, Brody, Hollie, Lee Ann and Rhett. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 2 p.m. at St. John XXIII Congregation (Immaculate Conception Church) 145 W. Church St. ,Saukville. Visitation was at the church on Saturday from noon until 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice appreciated.
