Phyllis M. Budiac (nee Kundert), 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017. She was born Jan. 25, 1931, in Athens and raised in Phillips. She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee Class of ’49. She married Joseph Budiac on Aug. 12, 1950. She was a crossing guard for many years and she loved children. Phyllis also loved animals, camping with family, cooking and baking. She was always taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; children, Joseph (Deborah), Leonard (Sandi), Mary Ellen (Jeff), Larry (Margie) and Jim (Kim); stepsister, Carolynn; grandchildren, Shelly, Marie (Brent), Jason, Shane (Deanna), Nick (Jamie), Stephanie (Adam), Katie, Jimmy, Maxx, Halley, Douglas and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Briana, Jeremy, Andy, Nathan, Elaina, Marrisa and Brynlee; great-great-grandchild, Genesis; sisters-inlaw, Shirley, Anne and Cathy (Duane); and brothers-in-law, Rudy (Pam), Richard (Carol), and Tony (Sharon) Caroline. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by brother, Jim; two grandchildren, Alexander and Amber; and other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Nathan Reesman presiding. The visitation will be held at the church Thursday, Nov. 9, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
