Agnes C. Hoffman, 93 Agnes C. Hoffman, 93, of West Bend, formerly of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at New Perspective Senior Living in West Bend.

Agnes was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late William and Vida (Heinz) Wallace. She was a 1942 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School. She married Willis O. Hoffman II on May 4, 1946. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1982.

Agnes was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Martha Chapter 66. She was also a longtime member of First Congregational Church and its Lend a Hand ministry in Fort Atkinson.

She enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Scotland, Germany and going on casino trips with her sister. Agnes was an excellent cook and made the best homemade caramels. She loved her sweets, always having a pocketful of candy with her. She also enjoyed word finds and having season tickets to the Fireside Dinner Theatre for many years. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Agnes is survived by her children, Jim (Judy) of La Crosse, Jane (David) Rickel of Janesville, Willis III (Nora) of Florida, Jeffrey of Wild Rose and Julie Hoffman of Janesville; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Fuerbringer of West Bend; sister-in-law, Marlene Wallace of Fort Atkinson; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Wallace, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the First Congregational Church, 31 West Milwaukee Ave., Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday at the church until time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
