Harold W. GrothHarold W. Groth, born Oct. 30, 1933, died peacefully at his home Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. He was born and raised in Jackson, the son of Harold E. and Violet (nee Klumb) Groth. He was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was past president of the Washington County Farm Bureau, Washington County Supervisor, town of Polk Supervisor and 4-H Leader.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joanna (nee Wolf) Groth; sister, Rochelle (Marvin) Stoffel; sisters-in-law, Janice Schmitt and Mary (Leon) Vore; children, Suzette Schuetz, Sandra Held, Timothy (Terry), Thomas (Tracy) and Terrance (Christine); grandchildren, Eric (Allison), Aaron, Brad, Chad (Kelly), Ryan (Sarah), Adam (Caroline), Jennie (Thorin Sr.), Amy, Allen, Clare, Cameron and Emily; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Paige, Grant, Emma, Jack, Greta, Millie, Hattie, Cash and Thorin Jr.; and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Harold will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend). The visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
