Kim PetersKim M. Peters (nee Margelowsky), 61, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, in her home after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Kim was born June 11, 1957, in Hartford to Wallace and Dorothy (nee Kohler) Margelowsky. She was united in marriage to Fred R. Peters on Nov. 5, 1977, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford. Kim worked for R.S Semler & Associates. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening, but most of all and most important to Kim was making memories with family.

Kim is survived by her husband, Fred; daughters, Michelle (fiance, Doug Felder) Bartlett of Juneau and Abbie (Darrell) Wobig of West Bend; grandchildren, Megan Bartlett, Hannah Bartlett, Drake Felder and Addisyn Felder; sister, Debbie Kodai; father-in-law, Frederick F. Peters; and brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Barb) Peters, Nancy Hopland, Karen (Tony) Pullum, Margaret (Dennis) Wiedmeyer, Rick Peters, Ted (Ann) Peters, and Patti Peters-Bloecher. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and granddogs, Molly, Cooper, and Bosco.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne, Joseph, Terry and Todd Margelowsky; mother-in-law, Shirley Peters; brother-in-law, Gary Peters; and sister- in-law, Theresa Peters.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kim will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State St., Hartford, WI 53027) with the Rev. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church Friday from 3-5:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions in Kimís name to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and St. Judeís Childrenís Hospital are appreciated.

The family would like to thank Dr. Asadullah Khan and the staff at Aurora St. Lukeís Medical Center and the Rehab Center at Aurora in Hartford for their loving care.
