The FREEMAN, serving Waukesha County, publishes the wedding and engagement announcements of people who have some connection with the county.
Wedding and engagement announcements, with or without photos, will be accepted for publication on the FREEMAN's couples page. The page runs Saturday.
Black and white pictures are preferred but color pictures are acceptable. Black and white pictures reproduce better. Photos provided on computer disc formatted for Macintosh are also acceptable but do not reproduce as well. Computer reprints, however, are not accepted.
Pictures included with weddings should be of the bride or bride and groom in wedding attire.
The FREEMAN is not responsible for pictures left with wedding and engagement announcements.
Pictures can be picked up at the FREEMAN office after publication or they will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped  envelope is provided with the announcement. Please allow four weeks for photo to be returned by mail.
Anniversary announcements will also appear in the FREEMAN.
Wedding announcements no older than six months will be published.
Announcement forms are available at the FREEMAN, 801 N. Barstow St., Waukesha.  Self-written announcements are also accepted, but please include a phone number to verify information and insure accuracy.
Please allow at least two to three weeks for publication. The cost to print an announcement is $20.

Single copies of back issues are .50 weekdays or .75 for Saturday.
Stop in to The Waukesha FREEMAN located at 801 N. Barstow Street, Waukesha, WI (262) 542-2501 between 8:00 - 5:30 M-F.
Back Issues based on availability - Call ahead and we can put copies aside for you. If you would like a copy mailed to you- the cost is $3.50. $1.00 for each additional copy (includes shipping).
