Sheryl Pooler of Jackson smiles as she attempts to get her butterfly off of her finger at the Cedar Community Dandelion Park in West Bend on Thursday evening. The butterflies were released in memory to those that have passed away. " Mom always loved butterflies," said Pooler. Pooler's mother passed away four years ago due to Alzheimer's disease. On the same day of the release, Pooler's father underwent his first treatment of chemotherapy. If they have this event again next year I will be back said Pooler.

Drazniowsky took the leaf for her friend, Betty Swift, who planted the tree a while back. Swift is now in Cedar Community Health Care Center. Drazniowsky is taking the leaf to her next visit with Swift.
