Principal shaved heads: 02-10-12

When classmate Zach Sprader was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year, his 5th grade classmates at Waukesha S.T.E.M. Academy - Randall Campus, banded together to help him. Several classmates shaved their heads to support him through his chemotherapy and the classes started a penny war to raise money for his care.

Two of the school's fifth grade teachers pledged to have their heads shaved if the classes met their fundraising goals. On Friday, Feb. 10, Jeff Patzer and Joshua Hoffmann followed through on their pledge. Each had his head shaved in front of the gathered students.
