Jim and Rose celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Wednesday. Rose said she has enjoyed 42 years of riding with Jim but was excited to begin the 43rd year. At 10 months old, Bublitz had open heart surgery in hopes to correct it.Bublitz and his family will be traveling to Pittsburgh, PA. and Palo Alto, CA. for evaluations in the next month. The family may have to relocate for the transplant. Another fundraiser will be held in Saukville on September, 22. Money raised from the fundraisers will help with medical bills. Gronbeck carried Wright nearly four kilometers back to base before realizing he was injured. Gronbeck had a series of shrap metal hit his leg and knee after the explosion. Gronbeck says that even after rehab, his knee and leg and still giving him issues. Bartelt will undergo a competency test to make sure he understands the charges that he is being charged with. Court will reconvene on September, 4 to review the results. Bartelt is being charged with four felony charges in the death of Jessie Blodgett. Elbert Reed of Hartford is one of four Washington County residents that were chosen for the EAA's Honor Flight this Friday. Reed served with the Air Force during the Vietnam War in 1969-1970. "I have mixed emotions," said Reed about the flight. "(The flight) is conjuring up a lot of memories. The feelings when we came home," said Reed. Reed did say he is still excited for the flight.
