LeAnn Boudwine, Cole's grandmother, started the organization in 2007 after sending a care package to her son and learning that not every soldier received care packages. Volunteers pack boxes of donated items and send care packages to soldiers overseas. The 10,000 care package was sent to United States Army Sgt. Ryan Valentine of Wisconsin.
