Battalion Chief John Spartz with the West Bend Fire Department said this morning that nobody was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation but Spartz said it appeared to be unintentional. The fire was contained to a first floor bedroom with smoke damage to the first floor and minor smoke damage to the second floor.
