Warm Country - over the past 50 years Washington County has more than tripled in size. While each community has grown; we still have maintained that friendly small town atmosphere and are blessed with many active, beautiful farms. In recent years the “Progressive Farmer” ranked Washington County as one of the top ten rural counties in the Midwest. In 2008 the H.O.G.® Haven will be held at our Washington County Fair Park; this event is connected with the 105th anniversary of Harley- Davidson and the 25th anniversary of H.O.G. ® They are expecting as many as 100,000 bikers from all over the world. We are ranked number 22 in dollars being spent, more than 140 million dollars on Tourism; what a boost to our economy. Credits/Acknowledgements Special thanks to the Daily News, 100 S.
