The  Newburg  Firemen's  Picnic  which according to most records has been held almost as long as the fire department has been  organized  since 1887. The depart- ment uses the profit from the picnic to purchase  new  equipment  for  the  fire department. This years picnic will be held May 30th-June 1st.
