Attractions
Washington County is blessed with abundant cultural attrac-
tions that provide for a wide range of vacation experiences.
The breathtaking Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary proudly
crowns our area as the top tourist attraction, with its inspiring
architecture and beautiful stained glass with a hilltop view of
the Kettle Moraine countryside.
Culture buffs will want to browse through the Old Courthouse
Square Museum and the Museum of Wisconsin Art, which
offers temporary exhibitions and early Wisconsin art collections
from 1800 to 1950. Step back in time at Dheinsville Settlement
and see the Bast Bell Museums collection of over 5,000 bells.
Visit Wisconsins Largest Automotive Museum in Hartford, dis-
playing the largest number of Kissel automobiles. See local
and national entertainment at the renovated Schauer Arts &
Activities Center that was once home to a canning company!
