East Troy Railroad Museum, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from Saturday through Nov. 4 and Fridays from June through October, 2002 Church St., East Troy. More than 30 historic railroad cars, including 15 in operation, the railroad features Chicago, South Shore & South Bend interurban cars, a Sheboygan interurban car, and streetcars from Milwaukee and Minneapolis. 14-mile round-trip excursions from the historic East Troy depot and museum to Mukwonago. Milwaukee Public Museum, 800 W. Wells St., Milwaukee. More than 180 rarely-seen artifacts from the museum’s Anthropology and History collections: an arrow from Custer’s Last Stand, 19th-century Japanese chainmail, the gifts a warlord gave to Gen. William Mitchell, defense weapons for women and more. Admission is free for MPM members or $21 for adults, $14 for youths (5 to 12), and $16 for seniors (65 and older), younger than 4 get in free. Includes general admission to the museum and a free planetarium program.
