SummerStage starts season with concert

SummerStage at Lapham Peak in the Town of Delafield opens its summer season with a concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

TOWN OF DELAFIELD -SummerStage at Lapham Peak opens its summer concert season with “Party in the Park” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The featured band will be Funhouse, which plays high-energy covers of 1980s tunes, along with a few ‘70s and ‘90s songs sprinkled in. What’s His Name & Some Other Guys will open with “rootsy” folk.

The Burgermeister Food Truck will serve gourmet burgers. The SummerStage concession stand will sell popcorn, candy bars, cookies, snacks, wine and beer. Patrons may also bring food and beverages for a picnic.

Admission is $15, $13  for seniors and students, and $7 for youths.

SummerStage tickets are available at www.Summer-Stage.org, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday in downtown Delafield, 412 Genesee St. or one hour prior to the performance at the SummerStage venue, W329-N846 Highway C, Town of Delafield.

Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Chairs are also available for rent.

Aug. 12 - British Rock ‘n’ Roll Invasion with Shattered and Substitute

Aug. 13 - Bill Camplin Band with the Sixes (rock, roots rock, folk)

Aug. 20  - Irish Music and Dance with Leahys Luck and Ian Gould

Sept. 17 - North Country Drifters with Jackie Nicholson (classic country, bluegrass)
