Polish Fest returns to lakefront

MILWAUKEE - Polish Fest returns to the lakefront with some of its old favorites, from pierogis to polkas, Friday through Sunday.

The market includes a variety of Polish goods, cultural exhibits are on display and a Mass is at 10 a.m. Sunday, with $4 admission from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Admission at the gate is $12, $10 for seniors 55 and older, and free for 15 and younger. Specials abound, including free admission to military with ID - retired or active duty.

Hours are noon to midnight Friday and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

There will be vodka tastings, a Chopin youth competition, Polish sheepdogs, food demonstrations and pageants.
