Donna Lexa Art Fair turns 20 on Saturday

August 18, 2016

WALES —  More than 50 artists will exhibit paintings, sculpture, jewelry, glass, pottery, photography, fiber, wood, and other fine arts and crafts Saturday along the Glacial Drumlin State Bike Trail.

The 20th annual juried art fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be kids’ activities, a silent art auction and live music.

Food for sale will include pork sandwiches, brats and hot dogs.

The art fair is sponsored by Jerusalem Presbyterian Church in memory of the late Donna Lexa, who helped disabled and elderly people reach their full potential through her work as an art therapist.

Proceeds from the art fair help support nonprofit organizations in Waukesha County and fund scholarships for Kettle Moraine High School seniors pursuing further education in art, music, drama or dance.

To reach the art fair, take Interstate 94 to Highway 83 and go south 3.5 miles to Main Street.
