MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County Zoo will take on a decidedly agricultural look Saturday and Sunday.

Family Farm Weekend will be held at the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm, renowned for being the only working dairy farm in the city.

Sponsored by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, farm-related activities are from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

There will be food demonstrations and a farmers market.

Events include:

- Watching cow milking, visiting the goats and cows, and interacting with animals following the Stackner Animal Encounter presentations. Times are posted outside of the Stackner Animal Encounter Building.

- Children 10 and younger weighing 70 pounds or less can become a little farmer for the day with a unique Pedal Tractor-Pull Exhibition sponsored by CNH Industrial.

- The new Wisconsin Spudmobile. Learn the ins and outs of potato production, from the field to the plate, on board this mobile education center (Sunday only).

- Adults and kids 4 and older can compete for prizes in their age group in the Milk Chugging Contest.
