Bestselling author featured at festival

WAUKESHA - The two-day Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books will feature bestselling author Jane Hamilton, with a reception at 5 p.m. Nov. 4 and keynote address at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for $35 and include Hamilton’s book “The Excellent Lombards.”  Tickets may be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/

There will be a free breakfast at 9 a.m. Nov. 5 with Hamilton at the UW-Waukesha, 1500 N. University Drive..

More than 60 writers are scheduled to appear at the festival, which features a Writer Marketplace for self-published writers, a cookbook stage and exhibits.

Saturday highlights include an original cabaret inspired by Waukesha Reads! book selection “To Kill A Mockingbird.”
