July 23, 1935 — March 21, 2020
Marlene Douglas (nee Dibben), a lifelong Waukesha resident, joined her heavenly family on March 21, 2020, at the age of 84 years. Marlene was born July 23, 1935, to Wallace and Clara Dibben (nee Vogel).
She married Gerald “Jerry” Douglas on Oct. 10, 1953. Marlene was a proud employee at the Waukesha County Register of Deeds office from 1977 until her retirement in 2002.
Marlene always put family first, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Marlene will be terribly missed by her daughters, Terri (James) Kunde and Tami Haupt; her only granddaughter, Claire Haupt; and by grandsons Doug (Katie) Kunde and Zach Kunde (fiancee Rae Robeson). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss their “Auntie M.” Her world was filled with many dear friends ... but she was our world.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, “Jerry,” and by son-in-law, Randy Haupt.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the ProHealth Cancer Center, especially to Dr. Laura Raftery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Waukesha County HAWS, would be appreciated.
Private family services will be held.
Church and Chapel Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. For further information, please call 262-827-0659 or visit www.churcandchapel.com.
